At SPIE, Sebastian Rudow managed the integration of ICG. Prior to that, as Group CFO at ICG, he played a key role, together with the private equity owner H.I.G., in forming the ICG Group from a number of different companies that had previously been owner-managed.
The turnaround expert has more than 20 years of extensive experience in management, restructuring and finance. He has held various management positions in which he has focused on long-term strategic direction and operational and financial performance improvement. His portfolio includes positions as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Finance Officer (CFO) and Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO). He has worked for these companies under a wide range of ownership structures, from management by owners to private equity and stock market listing. A lawyer by training, Rudow began his career at the restructuring law firm Wellensiek, where he ultimately became a partner.
“Consultants at FTI-Andersch take on interim roles such as CFO or CRO for our clients. With Sebastian Rudow, we are further expanding our offering for these interim managers,” said Christian Säuberlich, spokesperson for the FTI-Andersch Executive Board and Country Leader of FTI Consulting in DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). “Sebastian Rudow brings with him experience as an operational manager in a variety of management and board roles with different ownership structures, as well as in business and legal consulting.
